Reuven Herman
I’m Reuven Herman, a film and visual media composer, conductor, and orchestrator, living and working in Los Angeles.
I’ve composed music for films, television, and video games, including Star Wars: Rebels, Jane the Virgin, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, AMC’s Hell on Wheels, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, the PBS docuseries Independent Lens, the Owlchemy Labs virtual reality game Cosmonious High, and the Activision game 007 Legends.
I’ve been writing music almost my entire life. I began playing piano at age four and was soon writing music for solo piano and larger ensembles. I studied jazz piano and performed with jazz, pop, and rock bands.
Since moving to Los Angeles, I’ve scored films, television, and video games, and have produced many soundtrack albums. I currently serve as President of the Academy of Scoring Arts.
